How It Works
The quiz covers ten everyday compatibility factors: communication style, love language, conflict approach, social energy, adventure level, planning, humor, money habits, tidiness and pace of life.
Both people answer each question from the same set of options. The calculator compares the two answers one question at a time, scores the match, and averages the ten results into a percentage.
The names add a small, fixed adjustment of up to three points either way, so the result feels personal without overriding your actual answers.
What the breakdown shows
- Superpower: the first question where your answers match.
- Friction area: the question with the biggest difference.
- Identical answers: how many of the ten you answered the same way.
- Question by question bars: each marked Match, Close or Different.
What Is the Formula?
- qi: the score for question i.
- One step apart: neighbouring options in the list, such as Balanced and Direct & Open.
- N: the name adjustment, a whole number from negative 3 to positive 3 generated from the letters in both names.
